Andrew Gebhardt has taught courses related to writing, anthropology, and business at the University of Amsterdam, the Hogeschool of Amsterdam, and New York University. In addition, he has taught workshops and courses in basic skills, reproductive health, and English at community centers in Philadelphia; literacy and creative writing to pre-school through high school age children in several U.S. cities; Spanish to high schoolers in Baltimore; writing to adults in New York City Public Libraries and LGBT senior citizens in Queens.

He offers workshops and courses in writing to meet students’ needs, from building basic skills and instruction in ways of using grammar and rhetoric to more advanced help for graduate students and academics seeking to publish in professional journals. He uses creative teaching techniques to stimulate and challenge students in a supportive and encouraging environment.
